Kalkutta, who’s name is homage to her infancy spent in an Indian orphanage before being adopted, is a dj turned producer/songwriter best known for spinning everything from parties in New York’s Lower East Side to a regular gig on Good Morning America appearing alongside guests like Rihanna, Bryan Cranston, and The Muppets. After penning breakthrough hit “New Americana” for alt phenomenon Halsey, Kalkutta signed to Sony ATV and is currently in the midst of working on her own project as well as writing & producing for others.
