Skyrocket’s witty and fearless attitude began when a group of friends, all veterans from Austin’s indie-rock, alternative, and songwriter scenes, discovered their shared craze for the days of anthem hits and one-hit wonders. From there on, Skyrocket spread its wings to include all the AM and FM singles they loved growing up. With each band member proficient in many instruments, the group boldly tackled unique, underrepresented material, performing such selections to frightening levels of accuracy.
